Flower Dish Cloths...

On Pinterest, I found a pretty picture of flower dish clothes. Happy to see that there was a link to the pattern, I grabbed some cotton yarn and hooked up a few. I love the way they turned out and can't wait to make more.

Here is the pattern. It was really easy and quick to do.

****Edited to add on 7-6-2012 - the above pattern is no longer there. Please try this link to get the pattern or see my post about the new pattern here.****

{hugs}

  1. Now that is a pretty dish cloth pattern! I especially love your blue and green combo. I will have to whiz out and get some cotton so I can try it. Thank you for the inspiration! Have a fab weekend.

  4. I remember making one of these before but don't remember what I did with the pattern, so now I went to the link you provided and whipped up a primrose in no time. Will definitely be making more as they are so easy. Sure wish the cotton we get here was a bit thicker, but I just gotta work with what I can find. Have a wonderful day. Tammy

    1. I have had the multicolored yarn for a few years now. I believe the brand is Peaches and Cream. Here is the link to their yarns, but I don't see the color on the page. They might not make it any more. There is a similar color at the bottom of the page called Kaleidoscope. It looks like the same colors without the white. http://www.elmore-pisgah.com/colors.htm

    2. Hi Laura, I've just found your blog - our crochet journey is so alike. I too was taught by my Nanny and then over the years forgot. I've followed the same links on blogs and Lucy Attic 24 is my "crochet guru"LOL, one of the first things I made was also the flower coaster from Yvestown. I really like the first little hat you made on April 11th last year, do you remember where you got the pattern please? I would love to make it for a dolly I'm currently dressing at the moment. I have a teenage boy and am a long way off grandchildren so I'm indulging my girly needs by knitting and crocheting dolly clothes!!! Anyway I look forward to following your adventures now that I have found you, Debbs x

    3. Hi Debbs.
      I am happy to see you here. It's fabulous that our crochet stories are so similar. The pattern for the little yellow baby hat is from Aesthetic Nest. She has a fabulous blog with lots of patterns. Here is her blog address... :o)
