Mountain Trip...

We took a trip to the family cabin at the beginning of the week. There was lots of snow still on the ground and cold air. It was fun and relaxing, even with the outhouse (yes, outhouse) and the skunk that we knew was spending the winter under the cabin. We had beautiful scenery, lots of time to read and play cards, lots of snacking, a nice warm fire 24 hours a day, snowman building and sledding and fun walks. I love family vacations...

  1. Gorgeous pictures and such a lovely place! Oh my God how I wish we had some snow here by now. We are predicted to have some, but I bet it won't make it to the south and if it does, it will be sleet only.
Seems that you had a great time, dear Laura.

    1. Thank you Tina :) We don't get any snow where our house is so we are lucky to have the cabin to visit, and enjoy the snow.
I hope you get some snow this season.

  2. I love your snowy pictures and the cabin sounds cozy and relaxing. Going for walks out in the crisp mountain air is one of my favorite things to do! And also the marshmallow thing : )
